http://www.vitalvinyl.com/the only time i bought anything from HTFR is arrived about 2 months later, after about 10 phone calls and it was so badly scratched it was unplayable. it took about another 3 months to get a refund and they denied recieving it in the post even though i sent it recorded post and they had signed for it :yakk:
if they’ve treated you well then you’re one of the lucky ones

June 18, 2007 at 3:42 pm #1113484Clearly there is mixed opinion but I haven’t had a good experience with them.
I only used them once for vinyl, about 8 years ago. I ordered about 6 tunes which were advertised as originals. They turned out to be dodgy presses with random tunes with no relation to each other and they were very poor quality. They were charged at “original copy” prices. I couldn’t be arsed with complaining so I can’t really comment on after care.
More recently I ordered my latest mixer from them because they had 15% off, which made a fair bit of difference due to the price. They didn’t have it in stock but took the money from my bank and there was a fair bit of phonetime spent on my behalf (on hold) until I eventually got it sorted and got my mixer about 2 weeks late. They were fairly friendly though and tried to help.
Personally I wouldn’t use them again, but clearly people get on ok with them. They seem to be fairly successful at what they do anyway.

July 2, 2007 at 11:22 am #1113493have used HTFR on a few occaisons. 1st couple of times no sweat, promt delivery, 1 tune I decided I didnt want, rang them up and very happily offerd a credit on to account(including p+p for return of record).
last time i used them the tune that turned up was clearly not new ( altho they do sell new and 2nd hand records, it did not state this particullar record was old) and very scratched. but again no probs getting refund/credit.
this week I are be mostly using bangingtunes.com
