Subject: Treat as Urgent
Date: Sunday, May 14, 2006 7:32 PMATTENTION,
After intense poundering, I decided to write to you.I am looking for a reliable and caring person who could adopt me.
I lost my parents 10 years back and since then i’ve been in the Orphanage home.My parents were involved in a plane crash after departing from a church conference in Nigeria..
You might want to know how i got your email address I got your address from a directory that portrayed your dignity in good light.that is why i have contacted you.
I am contacting you today requesting for adoption. I am a Young High school graduate and i have served as a slave for 4 years and now i realised being a slave is as hot as hell due to my terrible experience in that field of slave.
On acceptance of this request, Please do not hesitate to get back in touch with me via email to xxxxxxx@yahoo.com. I look forward to hearing from you soonest.
Yours Truly,
Yinka🙁

May 15, 2006 at 10:20 am #1073447Adoptions/Sponserships of that nature are done through charities & agencies – not like that.
That’s a proper wrong way to try and blag people.

May 15, 2006 at 1:58 pm #1073436Nigerian 419 scam. Fairly common and not particularly subtle. The sort of thing that comes from a country angry, divided, desperate and with a culture steeped in corruption and criminality.
This is a place where people decided a good scam was to try and steal petrol from a high-pressure pipe – by drilling holes in it
you now have a pipe which is now pissing out petrol everywhere – some being collected into jerrycans, the rest creating a cloud of vapour building up in the hot African sun
The result was predictable…..
May 15, 2006 at 2:11 pm #1073446LolBut why do they say they are from africa in their con emails?
Maybe they are slaves  ???
