any one got any advice/tips on using the oddcast standalone?

:rant::rant:i am pretty hacked off with the winamp version as it keeps crashing my machine and i never liked winamp anyway:rant::rant::rant::rant:

No advice needed mate. It’s exactly the same as the winamp plug in apart from it’s a solitary program (obviously).

The only difference in set up will be that you should put the lame.dll encoder in to the oddcast root directory in “program files” as opposed to the winamp folder.

I’ve been using it and prefer it to the plug in. Just makes things simpler.

Yeah ive rewritten my oddcast instructions on Level 1 for the standalone one. No point in the winamp version since they released this.

will go and try it out in the next few days;
it looks good but the real question is will i get it to work…
