I have plenty of space available and enough available bandwidth for it to grow past the size of the old forum….All this is for free, courtesy of Tom (Random Monkey). So other than the (minimal) registration cost and a licence for the shell that I am happy to fund, the forum can run for free for the foreseeable future.
The infrastructure and design is currently being put into place and we hope to have it live in the week after Easter….
We will be able to stream MP3s, either stored or live stream, and we can link to psypix or host our own gallery….
Although I have registered the domain in my name I do not want it to become “my forum” ….
It should be a resource for the whole psy-trance community.
Any suggestions for how it should be laid out and run are all gratefully accepted, as are offers from anyone who feels happy to moderate…
If Mike decides to resurrect the original forum, then we can amalgamate users/posts and resources as appropriate….
I shall post again to let you all know when it is live and I hope that we can all utilise it for the benefit of our community and scene.
