Ain’t had chips & gravy for years man, always tend to do curry sauce with my chips these days, but gravy’s well nice with em though.
September 13, 2012 at 9:20 am #1257885Mmm chips with curry sauce, im not so keen on gravy with my chips but wanted to uphold the northern stereotype lol. I love tangents, this persons introduction has turned into a fried potato based thread in their absence lol. Spanish omelettes are nice too, never tried one with gravy though

Mmm, I got a big pot of dried curry sauce from some chinese supermarket few months ago. Couple tablespoons of that in the microwave with a jug of water, and I got lashings of thick tasty chinese-takeaway-style curry sauce to be poured on literally anything! 😀

Don’t think omelettes & gravy would go well together man, sounds rank! Glad this thread turned into something, the intro was like a cross between Idiocracy & TOWIE! “I like money!”

Dude, that sounds so good, I’m gonna go hunt down the local Chinese supermarket & get some of that, it sounds fkin lovely! Always wondered how to make their curry sauce – Chinese curries are the nicest curries going in my opinion.

Haha, true but I was being polite by chatting shit instead of replying ‘i also like money cos money buys me drugs’ and I only just realised she likes motos as well. Here’s a moto worth remembering ‘Go to sleep with itchy hole and wake up with stinky finger’
And thats a proverb but I dont even care anymore.September 13, 2012 at 12:23 pm #1257888Forgot my advice on makin chinese curry. They often add dry fried onion too it and coconut
September 13, 2012 at 12:38 pm #1257872Um, welcome. Enjoy your money. Erm, I mean you stay here.
September 13, 2012 at 12:50 pm #1257871I don’t know how things roll up North but down South the curry sauce sold with fish and chips was indeed Chinese curry as the fish and chip shops were often run by Chinese. Much of the ingredients for Chinese food (which cannot be sourced locally) are brought in via the East Coast of the country and distributed here or nearer London towards where Daftfader lives. I think the curry sauce is sold in large pots and tubs some of 20 litres or more…

Fuckin’ hell mate, how northern are you? lol. It could only be better if you had a pie factory adjoining the chippy on one side, a mill ‘out back’ and a penchant for ferrets and whippets! Quality man.

Ha ha, the ferret reference is pretty dated to be fair (it’s a reference older than Last Of The Summer Wine) & much like whippets, is/was more of a yorkshire thing. It probably woulda helped if I remembered you were a Lancastrian! At least you played the right code of rugby though, lol.
