At the moment i live in Suffolk, in a village near woodbridge.
But as i’m not realy doing much with my life at the moment except free parties my mum is getting concerned and wants to move me away from Ipswich [where i spend most of my time]She wants to move me to Stroud [think its near bristol]
Problem is, i dont know any free party goers in stroud…i dont even know if there are a lot of good parties there.I need to know, What are parties like in that area? I dont want to move somewhere i cant go raving. Is there anyone from there on this message board. Im not agreeing to move anywhere until i know i can have my weekends.
May 3, 2007 at 1:06 pm #1104187bristol is FULL of nights from legal to illegall 😉 … its all good
heard its more d n b over that way … not my thing but hey there must be more …
May 3, 2007 at 1:08 pm #1104183Yeah it is Bristol way,
I dont think you would have any problems for partying…..
May 3, 2007 at 1:17 pm #1104179there’s as big a scene there as East Anglia (although a lot of crews from that way had their rigs confiscated at Wales).
More warehouse parties in winter and more dnb/breakcore, maybe not as openly “fluffy” as East Anglia (some of the parties are held in fairly rough areas) but hopefully you should still meet some good people.. There are several crews operating in that part of the country.
that said I don’t think the employment or education prospects are any better in West/SE England than in East Anglia – I did the opposite move myself and came here from SE England because I was offered a better job..
May 3, 2007 at 1:18 pm #1104188youll have a right good time, all us TV lot will look after ya … no worries 😉

I would quite like a change of scene to be honest. get away from all the people that are messing me up. I just wanted to make sure that i could still have my fun.

Well, even if i did move there im sure i’ll still be coming to East anglia for some fluffy-ness.
May 3, 2007 at 1:32 pm #1104189most parties in and around bristol are very friendly ive found and theres never been ANY trouble except for the odd case of people conflicting over who parked their car in the middle of the entrance but surely that happens everywhere … and theres more further afield if you have transport …

Moving about is not such a bad thing, i quite like the change when i move. TBH it never really changed my ways i just managed to find people who enjoyed the same things as me.
Also if there are things in your life going in a way you dont like its a perfect chance to see if you can change it…..

Thats some pretty good advice. I realy do want to get away and start again. Meet new people & try and fix the things ive done wrong. But then i have a few friends here. I can count them on one hand and i love them so much. We are so close, i cant bare to lose them. and i know that if i move so far away i will. And im scared i wont meet anyone as good as them wherever i move to.

Apparently they put a pregnant woman in hospital or something. I duno. I read the news too much.
But i see disagreements about parked cars at every party i go to.

And im scared i wont meet anyone as good as them wherever i move to.These were the worries that i had when i was moving about in my teens, with moving about i have always had small circles of friends but they have always been good friends. If your friends are true friends no matter how far you move you will still be friends, i still go to Taunton and Weston-super-Mud to see old friends from years ago. Even when i moved away from Oxford my close friends stayed in contact.
You will meet new people who you will get on with, they will never replace your old friends but they may introduce you to new things that you may like.

May 3, 2007 at 1:50 pm #1104194They have said that they would keep in contact with me. Not sure they realise how far im moving too.
I’m also worried i wont have nayone to go to parties with. Not teh same going on your own. Unless i drag some friends to some parties in that area so i can meet some people before i move there.
Its all very daunting. But i guess if my hearts in it i can do it.

The SE/West of England is a lot “smaller” than East Anglia (look on a map to get the idea of this) and there are more trains even if you don’t have a car, so its quite possible you could still meet up with people from Swindon, Bristol, Reading, West Berkshire, Oxon etc… quite a few of these people post here now and then…
Gloucestershire is full of k-heads though… :laugh_at:

i moved 200 miles from all of my friends, i hated my family for moving me and hated where i lived because i moved with the attitude of ”im going to be hermit and never show my face, whats the point i havent got anyone anymore” and i am not saying that in a voice like im taking the piss, i am completly serious. There are others out there, now i thank my dad for making me move, i will never forget my old friends, they come visit and i go and see them, you never loose contact (if you keep at it!) and i have met some of the greatest people ever … i love them all.
keep smiling and itll go well buddy, trust me, the voice of experience 🙂
