August 10, 2011 at 7:05 am #1242909Thank you everyone I’m going to book another test today and get this thing done. I feel awful this morning, tired achey and down, think I’ll have some 5-HTP to help me along. Crazy what adrenaline can do!
Hat, I’m sorry but that did make me giggle ๐August 10, 2011 at 12:43 pm #1242894Sorry to hear your bad news ๐ Yes book another straight away. You can do it ๐ x
August 10, 2011 at 6:09 pm #1242885If you are on an adrenaline kick [sounds like] go do some serious cardio exercise and burn some of it off – a good strenuous run, game of basketball, footie [whatever you like] – giving the adrenaline a way to burn off is a good way to drop its level to something more manageable and make you a lot less anxious
for me its a stamina dj set [4+ hours] and ideally with a crowd though if I have no audience I will play for my own pleasureAugust 11, 2011 at 6:29 pm #1242900Hi SuperSnuff ,
When i took my test i was in the armed forces ….i went from none driver to hgv2 in six weeks ….thats not a brag . No my point is my co-driver was far better than me and made me look stupid . He went up for test and should have passed yet failed !!!! …nerves again . I was put up for test and even my instructor said i dont think your quite ready but your unit needs you back so i have to put you up for test ….dont think you’ll fail as your not that bad but if you do no worries .Well every thing went so well …..there was a round-a-bout that was hell to get across as it was so busy . When i got there there wasnt even a car on it !!!! . I got back parked and answered his questions and he said i passed !!! . The instructor bless him was watching from the waiting room like an expectant father !!!! . I got out walked towards him and he asked did you pass or fail , so i answered failed lol , he said ah no worries you’ll pass the next . Then i told him i passed !!! , blimey he only punched me in the gut and said tell the truth !!! . Finally he realised i was telling the truth and he was over joyed lol .
My point is its some times luck wether you pass or not , my mate the co-driver was a far better driver and should have passed …..like im sure you should as well . However we all passed in the end and so shall you , dont be put of my past tests !!!! you’ll get there i promise ๐
regards
MungoAugust 11, 2011 at 8:40 pm #1242896Mungo man, not slating your driving, but every lad I’ve been in a car with who’s done that intensive army driving thing is a completely shite driver haha
August 12, 2011 at 5:41 am #1242901Hi Moonie ,
Mate i agree ….was silly doing it all in six weeks !!! . I had no experience and no forward planning !!!! , and to be honnest i wasnt a confident driver back then either . Been driving 21 years now so i like to think im better now ๐ , im certainly no boy racer lol .regards
