Hi folks, Recently we got two kittens a boy and girl, Both black and called Alfie and Coco. I’ve had cats before but nothing compared to these two nutters!
I put some hard trance on last night when i was having a mix and you should of seen em, they were going proper mental to the music (in a cute way tho) I’d forgotten how entertaining cats are!! I’ll try and get a video of em and post it on here on on youtube!
December 1, 2007 at 1:03 pm #1125772haha cats are always best when they are kittens, when they are older they get a bit boring, not in a bad way.
sounds like yours are a bit more mental than most tho:weee:

Learn all the functions of your camera so you can activate it very quickly.. you will need the same reactions as wildlife photographers.
Crouch on the floor like a cat when taking the photos, so you can get the right perspectives/camera angles (this also means the kittens fill more of the frame). sometimes keeping a distance and using a longer lens or telephoto setting works well.
get someone to stand near to you and hold a bit of food or something the kittens/cats are interested in. You can then photograph them looking at the food/toy. NB: some are surveillance-aware and won’t play along with this, others actually enjoy being photographed!

i’ve had a few litters over the years and they all pull the same stunts
wall of death around the sofa backs, climbing up the curtains, getting stuck an needing rescuing, gallopping around like a herd of mini elephants in the middle of the night, getting underfoot and generally being gorgeous
don’t miss the house-training tho – don’t reckon there’s an eviler substance anywhere than cat poo in the carpet :yakk: !
