@Seasonz: Being anti religion is being antitheist. Atheism is just not believing in a God.
I will denounce religion openly because although I believe everyone has the right to believe what they want, it is pretty disgusting that people can preach views of hate on others under the guise of religion.
It is outdated shite that causes unecessary wars and hate.Christianity is outdated in my opinion, though I’m not saying its wrong or anyone will go to hell and burn in hell in eternity, that is not the case, and I have NO right whatsoever to say anyone will go anywhere including myself, that is for god to decide and him alone.
Other dieties you or others have seen? Angels and demons, again, in my opinion, I haven’t gone through the whole thread and I’m on my way to work. So I will update myself on everyone’s post when I get back.
And if you were to make up a religion do you know why you would have no followers (well, aside from the psyentist) is because, it would be fake, why did Judaism, Christianity and islam have so many believers and still do after 1000s of years? Because they all had prophecies GIVEN to them

For people that are athiests, I do believe that yes. But don’t you believe in turning into a tree or “coming back as something beautiful?” Is that what athiests believe? I’m just curious
You’re thinking of Buddhists there mate (and Hindus too if I’m not mistaken). Personally I believe this is all we get, 1 life, no afterlife or any coming back as something else, just a few years on this giant rock hurtling through space and then we become worm food. I know that’s a hard concept for some people to deal with, but I don’t see any evidence for anything else. And as for being evolved from fish and monkeys, it seems a lot more plausible to me than being created by some invisible beardy guy. I know you won’t agree, but that’s my two pence worth on the subject anyways.
Oh, by the way, dinosaurs…

How do you know that that is the case? Were you there when they were supposedly given these prophecies? Didn’t think so.
I have actually been given a prophecy too. I was told by Jahizzamickerutomakaak the 1st (Bless his soul) that tommorow will be the 5th of April
April 4, 2013 at 1:17 pm #1270575I personally believe that Jesus, Moses, Mohammed and all other prophets were merely deluded schizophrenics or high functioning autistic savants that people happened to believe at the time then things got a little out of hand.

Jesus – narcicist. (everyone has to love me!!)
Muhammed – sex offender.
Moses – early dementia sufferer. (Im lost in a desert…again!)April 4, 2013 at 3:02 pm #1270577Also why is it when a miracle does occur or someone claims to have witnessed an act of divine intervention they attribute it to the god they’ve been praying to? Is it not possible should gods exist that the miracle was performed by someone else’s god trying to reveal themselves to or convert you? This simply never gets taken into consideration.

Actually there’s a few historians, particularly one at the University of Jerusalem, who believe that the ten commandments were written on hallucinogenic drugs, since they grow in Negev and Sinai.

So do missionaries. One type of preservation is just as based on emotion and not logic as the other.
The difference is, missionaries get off their arse. Psychologists just sit on theirs and spout gibberish.
