Music Production Thread

‘ey up, peeps. I thought I’d start a thread on music production so we can all post up our Soundclouds, give each other feedback and share tips ‘n’ shit.

To get the ball rolling, I’ve been producing psytrance for around a year, starting on FL Studio 7 and recently moving to Cubase 5. I’ve really gotten into it and hope to start a music production degree in September. It’s taken me a while but I think I’ve finally found the style I enjoy producing most – trippy, organic, atmospheric psytrance. Here’s my latest tune, still very much unfinished, but I really dig it so far. It’s the one called ‘ParvatiStylee’ (of course I’ll have a different name when it’s finished!):

been working on some traditional / wacky instruments infused with modern electronic beats… ive no plans to release this music… when i get a mic maybe ill record some and put it here though…

i also do some experimental stuff in cubase… but my PC is broken atm so cant access the files..

did a “contempary populer music” course at college .. learnt the basics of production there … (random bit of info :- was on the same corse as dizzy rascle … he’s a prick …) was messing about with cubase and that back when i was 18 .. but stopped after a year or so as my pc was too shit to do anything really … have reacently (within last year) got a new pc … and have got back into it again … thinking about doing another corse of some kind … a deg sounds good .. but need to save up some major bucks to do that … don’t fancy being in debt with a student loan for years … might just learn off my own back … we’ll see what happens 😉
