August 17, 2006 at 4:33 pm #1086677if you want i can help you through it when i get home?
[the reason why we dont like mp3 is that it was optimized for voice and you lose a huge amount of the detail in the music in the low and mid frequencies of stuff which has a lot of bass like, for example, dance music:weee:]
[also the codec has not been update since the crew that did the last one moved on to other things seven or so years ago:hopeless:]

August 19, 2006 at 12:59 am #1086678i think other people may want this info at some point so here goes
to unistall a windows XP program
go to start menu
select control panel
go to add and remove programs
select it off the list that is there [if it is not part of XP] or go to unistall windows components if it is part of XP and uninstall it from thereyou unistall it by selecting the box which tells it to remove the program
to install VLC
go and download it
:crazy_fre:crazy_fre:crazy_fre
NB if you decide to use this you will have to paste the new radio link into it as follows:
1- open VLC studio
2- select the File drop down menu
3- select open network stream (Ctrl +N)
4- open the file tab in the Open window
5- paste the link in the box
6- hit return
and off you go:horay::horay::horay::horay:allow it to set itself as the default for anything it wants to and it will play those lovely oggs for you
