Also, Pump Up The Volume that was on channel 4 a few years ago, a documentary mainly dealing with the history of house music and going on to rave and stuff at the end

It seems to get better everytime I watch it (I’ve got it on disc) yet it’s only a documentary. It’s by far the best documentary on that particular subject though, even though there are a few gaps here and there.

Only the Pump Up The Volume documentary I posted above. Another good one is The Alchemists Of Sound Documentary about the BBC Radiophonic workshop. (Delia Derbyshire is one of my idols 😉 ) but that doesn’t really deal with modern electronic dance music at all, more about old electronic production techniques.
