We (Ooops!) did a Tuesday night party for the eclipse in 1999. The eclips itself was 11.10 on the Wednesday morning, so it seemed sensible to party through the night and then watch the sky action in the morning.
Took a tent out and allsorts – I reckon we must have had about 150 there, although a couple of folk went off to work in the morning rather than waiting for the eclipse.

One other time was Spiral Tribe after carnival party which was a Monday night – nothing to beat the feeling of being on a seven storey roof looking out over London as it went to work:laugh_at:
