right, i see alot on here about rave music and the likes but is there anyone else as manic about heavy metal as me? if so, pray tell your fancies of the metal!:weee:raaa:weee:raaa
January 3, 2011 at 9:30 pm #1233492i’ll start, Anaal Nathrakh are the daddies of black metal, they are ridiculously brutal. i laav em
January 3, 2011 at 9:44 pm #1233468although I prefer dance music I don’t mind Rammstein but that is also because I have a strong interest in Teutonic languages
“Nun gute Kinder, gebt fein Acht…
Ich bin die Stimme aus dem Kissen
ich hab euch etwas mitgebracht
hab es aus meiner Brust gewissen…”I wonder if there is Dutch heavy metal? Perhaps not as other than trance their pop music is a bizzare mixture of oompah bands and really twee cheesy lyrics. I did look it up but instead came up with a form of brass, Cu 84% Zn 16% (which can be beaten into sheets and used as fake gold). In fact I did initially even wonder if you were actually asking about metal to make stuff like jewellry out of :laugh_at:
January 3, 2011 at 9:47 pm #1233493hmmm, Teutonic languages and metal have gone hand in hand for many years now, if i recall correctly venom did a whole album in norse! there from Newcastle though, it didn’t do too well over here, but in Germany, poland, denmark ect there wasn’t enough copies like

Modern Norweigian or proper Old Norse from ancient times?
I remember a few years ago when the chatroom was more active and we had loads of Scots people on there pissed and on speed (and they start writing in Scots) and Angel was on there too and realised some of the words were the same as in Danish 😉
January 3, 2011 at 9:55 pm #1233494was modern norse.
Danish and Scot, well, i didn’t expect those two tongues to be so close!
January 3, 2011 at 10:01 pm #1233463Anonymouspunk & alternative rock more than metal but.. hell yeeaaah.

My old head chef (this little italian dude ) loves ramstine and used to randomly burst out into screaming some of there tunes at the top of his voice whilst cooking in the resterant (a harvister at the time) infront of the open grill. Was hilarious as you’d see all the customers looking round at him like “WTF???”. :laugh_at:
January 4, 2011 at 12:51 pm #1233464AnonymousJanuary 4, 2011 at 2:56 pm #1233491I have seen Slayer, Cradle of filth (before they got shit), Rammstien, slipknot (before they got crap) live more than once if that counts?
Not really into Metal though more all the bits around it in all honesty. Slayer were fucking shite. Saw Iron Maiden once they were good fun. Black Sabbath were better. As I say, the bits around it rather than metal.
