I’ve been reading a few other drugs forums to work out the risks of RC’s and TBH its really starting to get a bit stupid, people across the EU are actually getting very ill and/or dying from party drugs and RCs. its not from any one “killer drug”, but from the sheer quantity and frequency of drugs they are using – midweek use / poly drug use (as well as alcohol) – and not even giving the substances a chance to get out of their system.

Many people actually don’t seem to be in very good physical or mental health to start with, (poor diet, no exercise, overweight) and what is worse IMO is that people are not just experimenting on themselves but they take knowingly stupid amounts (ignoring advice on forums like these and even the more scientific ones), they start feeling rough and then call 999 /112 and get hauled in to the Emergency Department.

I’m certaintly not suggesting they risk their lives and don’t get medical treatment, but each time this happens the rest of society has paid £500 or more of their own money to fund these “experiments” and have had no choice in the matter.

I’ve got friends and relatives in their 20s/30s what are or were into music and partying but have calmed down, studied hard and now serve their nation in the NHS. They are training to be doctors, nurses and pharmacists and many give up their weekends to work on the Emergency Department ward and end up looking after people their own age group what have been greedy (sometimes even having to put up with abusive behaviour from them). these sort of incidents harden their hearts and whilst they will always do what the job requires to make people better, as people rise up the ranks in the NHS they do get to speak to coppers and politicians and influence drugs law and policy.

My own sister works in NHS and she is obviously a very caring young lady but she told me she is increasingly pissed off with seeing chavettes younger than her with a drug/alcohol habit and 4-5 kids some of which are always unwell due to mum not looking after them properly and dad long gone, and that stuff like this is changing her political views towards the right wing and she has never been like that.

We are soon to get a new government (whether its a full Tory takeover or a hung Parliament with a Tory swing) and whilst the NHS is a sacred cow they are going to want to minimise the costs of peoples stupidity and excess. They might well decide to do this by making all RC’s class A/B, removing funding from “politically correct namby pamby pro-drugs organisations” (like the ACMD) and giving it straight to SOCA to increase surveillance and enforcement. The current Tory manifesto already points to an “abstinence based approach”.

How people treat their recreational drugs in the next few months could easily shape the future of the Govt response to them, either for good or bad and it isn’t loooking good at all.

Can I also have a little rant about what we are calling this compound. 4-methylmethcathinone has been assigned the name mephedrone.

Methedrone is 4-Methoxymethcathinone or PMMC (or bk-PMMA)

Methadrone is synthetic opioid and is the first compound to be named in the topic title. Is it possible to get this changed to prevent any misunderstandings.

IMO you’ve been doing a lot of wrong’un, Mephe of <99% pure shouldn't be doing that fella, no way. I've done a bit recently and although I get bunged up and have to sloosh out my sinuses out with water occasionally it hasn't affected my nose at all.

4-MMC is harsh on the nose. A mate who is very hardcore when it comes to drugs, physically robust and some might even think he is a big scarey bloke actually cannot snort it as it hurts too much.

i snorted alot of 2c-t-7 this weekend, supposed to be much worse than 2c-b snorted and i thought drone hurt alot more. maybe it’s to do with the quantity but oh well!!

bombing is probably the safest option here.

I would actually test the pH of the stuff if I had the kit as I am sure it is either very alkaline or very acidic but it is not easy for a British Asian man to obtain chemistry equipment these days around “fireworks time” without getting the local constabulary (and the Met) asking difficult questions.

Any of the brainy people on here tried this or found info about it?
