      Ehh maybe myspace should be booted and be replaced by ‘linked in'(since this site is kinda pro oriented…) or any other more actual social platform…

            I’d remove bebo and myspace (not sure if bebo ever existed) Not sure about direct links to linkedin as EDM and TBH the music industry itself still has a sleazy image associated with drugs and the sex industry in many countries.(this weekend Ipswich’s last EDM club hosts its last event and turns into a snooker hall).

            It also seems to be only in the Nordic and Germanic countries where music is viewed as a profession rather than a hobby or lifestyle choice (for instance my younger sister is a professional level guitarist and vocalist, my cousin an excellent pianist, my mum and two aunts are all good singers but only two relatives of mine have had a music related paying career and one died in his early 50s from stress related illnesses brought on by this).

              Bebo excisted, but sold and partly forgotten by the new owners(facebook won the race….) and then bought back by one of the founders to resurect as a social chat-service.

              Many of my friends that belong to the the industry use linkedin, not artist but the artist is just a tiny small part(but of most importance) of the music and entertainment industry, they are the product. A headcount at a party, concert, teater, exbithions etc. will tell you that, what you see is build and run by a mass of people. The connection to the sex industry I still have not seen. Drugs….thats mainly an artist and spectators thing thing…….

              And since we have promoters and people behind the scene on here I think linkedin should have an address field in users profiles.

                yep there’s a few event managers on my linked in and we’ve already got a button for it on both here and .org. TBH I use linked in myself and even google plus with my real name but am wary of linking direct to here because of the .org content. In countries outside the UK I can see its value; but in this country the whole music/arts scene is fucked now (combination of the last elected govt and all the pedo scandals). even if the greeens get a landslide this year it won’t change quickly; I had to explain the EDM scene to my local green MP candidate as he only just understood the tail end of britpop (he is younger than me to be fair)
                Plus my real name is shared with 10000 Chinamen anyway so its easy for people who don’t know me to link to wrong person :laugh_at:

                  But we are at .com now, I do not think the linkedin adr. give away should apply for .org….its another site and another log in… I seldom use it and if I do its only for report matters or like wise. I cannot relate sad to say to the content on .org, I wish there was a way to splitt the drug section from the sex content. But can I live with it as is now. I been a lot on the road lately, but hope to spend some more time here in near future….I miss you all.

                    TBH I also only use .org for sharing any harm reduction advice or discussing crypto with Requiem/Tryptameanie as its blatantly clear to anyone with half a brain the sites are connected in some way or other (incidentally a Google ad cookie on here detected a lot of people who use both PV and linkedin a few years ago..)
