Jolly good! :laugh_at:
July 21, 2012 at 8:05 pm #1256270haha good man I like it, its so fucking true we are loosing the right of free speech day by day, Britain becomes little America inch by inch and we loose our right to be British!
July 21, 2012 at 8:15 pm #1256271Wicked, cheers daftfader, cheers Portsmouth-Ritch, glad u liked it (or seemingly a particular part of it in daft’s case, ha ha), nice one fellas, big up.
July 21, 2012 at 8:45 pm #1256252Love it mate nice one, keep working on them mate. I reckon daft should have a go at making a backing track for ya. Personaly I wouldn’t know where to start making one but daft might have half an idea???
July 21, 2012 at 8:54 pm #1256272Sweet, nice one mate, thank you. If you’re reading this daft, any chance mate? Can get the vocals for this one done at the same time as the other one and send em both to ya if you’re up for it / have the time / ain’t completely sick of me pestering ya by then!
July 21, 2012 at 8:57 pm #1256253Nah you got a long way to go before your pestering him. I had him reduced to changing his msn status to 0800-tech support after about 2 weeks of trying to educate me over the internet. LOL

Ha ha, quality mate, makes me feel a lot more reassured. I think it might just tip him over the edge though if we’re both badgering him for advice – double the stressload for him innit?
July 21, 2012 at 9:17 pm #1256254He will be ok, after all he’s only a robot.
July 21, 2012 at 9:23 pm #1256274Cool, does he have all wires inside & everything?
July 21, 2012 at 10:05 pm #1256262lol. yeah I don’t mind making a track for that as well, only thing is I’m pretty busy atm … got loads of stuff I’m doing over the next month so might not get a chance till sep to really start working on it.

You know in them alien films where it’s like tubes with milk and shit everywhere. Kinda like that but with the odd coke can where the manufatures ran out of metal to use.

That’s cool mate, whenever’s good for u dude. My mate’s got his speakers sorted now, so will pop up & see him sometime this week & get the recording done, then I can get em sent to ya for whenever you’re ready man.

Ha ha, quality. Little patchy bits here & there like metal skin grafts! Does he have an old metal coat hanger covered in tin foil too?

If you record it whilst listening to a beat with a BPM of 140 (but don’t record the beat just your vocals) then it’ll match in time with what I was thinking of making … if that’s too slow or too fast, then just record it whilst listening to a beat at what ever feels comfortable, just make sure you do it to some form of timing and let me know the bpm when you send me the vocals or it’ll be imposable for me to match it up with a tune. 😉

Sweet dude, will do. I’m sure my mate must have something knocking about than I can use as a template to make sure it’s at the right speed. In the unlikely event that he hasn’t, I’m sure google can help.
By the way, just to clarify, I take it you mean that for this rhyme as opposed to the Mandy one?

Both mate, as if either aren’t in time I can’t really do much with them. 😉

Ha ha, good point mate. I’d better make sure they’re both in time then, lol.
July 22, 2012 at 2:18 pm #1256256I was gonna ask actually, what sort of BPM would it have to be. Also what style. The obvious answer in my head would be a hip hop beat which I have no idea how to make, but then I thought mabe you could do it over a break beat style tune. I have heard some cool breaks tracks before with rapping/MC’ing over them. I wish I knew the name of tune. I would have to tap up old biotech for a track ID cos once again it’s on one of his mixes. LOL.
Also I reckon it would be fun to add grainular/glitch effects to the vocal track if it was on a breaks track. I dunno if G-tek heard my track I made back in febuary where I made some vocals and glitched them up. It’s not the greatest track but it was a nice learning curve for me to get used to stretching and glitching vocals. I’m proppa looking forward to it now. : )
(I know i said DF should make your track for ya but if it’s ok with you guys I wouldn’t mind giving it a go just for some practice)
July 22, 2012 at 7:07 pm #1256280I’m open to any style really mate, but you’re right though, rapping fits well over breakbeat / old skool tunes, sometimes it even fits better than it does over a hip hop beat – even ‘Rhythm Is A Dancer’ has some in it!
This track that you made back in february, is it on soundcloud? If so, what’s it’s name dude, I’ll check it out – more than happy to send you a copy of the vocals too man.
July 23, 2012 at 4:49 am #1256257yep its called good lag.
July 23, 2012 at 6:56 pm #1256281Just checked it out dude, cool tune man, like it. Kinda reminded me a bit of the old Chris Morris radio show ‘Blue Jam’, defo something you’d dance to at a party if it was dropped too.
Also, I see on ya soundcloud profile that u used to make the journey up to the sanctuary to go raving – me too dude. Last time I went was Helter Skelter in June 97 (can’t remember the name of it off the top of my head, but I’m sure you’ll know it). Still got my backstage pass from that one somewhere too.

klecto models 101
What’s this whole klecto thing then good people? Seen it on a couple of threads now & not sure what it means, but I’m sure one of you can enlighten me. Thanking you please in advance…
July 24, 2012 at 12:57 pm #1256258Well the firts I heard of it was on MSN p0ly was saying to me he wanted to write a story about a ketamine powerd robot called klectomine and the female version klectominge. Then we were being silly on a thread quoting teminator and replacing evrything with klecto. ie instead of cyberdyne systems model 101. its klecto systems model 101. So far its back story is klecto was sent back in time to kill dr bunsen (the site creator) before he creates partyvibe.
Might sound a bit silly but we found it highly ammusing. Read the last few pages of this thread http://www.partyvibe.com/forums/ketamine/245-ketamine-killing-rave-scene-dont-130.html
