I really love my job but my boss is a complete c**t!! I end up doing all the work while the boss and the other worker gossip and bitch about other people…today I had to stand outdoors in the cold for two hours, it took hours for my hands and feet to warm up as my blood circulation is shite. 😥
I was also snapped at for not doing something but I argued that how am I supposed to do something which am not told to do??
Sick of it, am going back on the dole, this is not worth my stress:cry:

Anyone else like their job or hate it?
Well I answered no as I neither love my job nore hate it. Its just okay……gets me by pays the bills n that!
Better that the rest of my jobs though as I actually have to think! Which is grea! Although it is an office job I do have to think whilst sitting on my arse so i’ve put on a shit load of weight which is not that great!

Hehe. Think you misunderstood me mate. Its the job I hate, not the work as the verb. Once Im going down the career path I choose, I would hope Im more motivated to do well and basically get up in the morning.
I work to my full now, but I still fucking hate It.
Cliffy, I think you should go fot it.
I always wanted to join the army, but I cant because of a heart murmor. It doesnt even affect me. It depresses me everytime I see the advert hehe. Dont anything get in your way if your fit and able. You will regret It.

Haha too right 😉
Best looking on their site for the intake months. I think there are 2. Mid summer and early winter. Dont quote me on that anyway.
Also, there’s still raving to be done when your In. There’s loads of drugs that dont show on the usual drug tests 😉 Not that you necessarily need ’em to party anyway 😉
Go In the chat room btw. I thought I was the only one not out tonight 😉

February 22, 2008 at 11:32 pm #1155593i find it weird that people whose lifestyles are outlawed by this government would want to go and fight, kill and possibly die for that system :you_crazy
my sister joined the army and became a medic. she did 2 tours in Basra. the first casualty she dealt with was a British Private who subsequently died; not from an injury or enemy attack but from heat exhaustion (the same thing that sometimes kills drug users in clubs) because troops weren’t allowed any down time. I believe he was the first British soldier to die in the current war in Iraq. He was guarding an oil instillation.
following her 2 tours she has spent months in mental institution in Bristol suffering PTSD.
joining the military wasn’t totally negative, in the beginning (she was a lazy little so and so) because it gave her some structure and skills, but it has cost her dearly
if you want a decent job, get an education. there are loads of free courses out there, including open university, which is free until you earn about 30K
lead your own life instead of following orders and risk your life for some dark agenda

February 23, 2008 at 12:23 am #1155600The title of this thread reminds me of the last time the jahovas knocked on my door!!!
Anyway I HATE my job, it interfears with my life too much, but I LOVE my job because it funds my fun. There is a job i am eyeing up at the moment and it sounds fucking perfect, if fact i am nearly wetting my pants because i might have an opportunity to work for this company.

I’m sorry for your sister that sounds really bad. I do think that our forces specially the army need more help from the government when it comes to looking after em.
With regards to the last bit, i have lead my own life and to be honest i’m doing a pretty shit job of it so far, Thanks for you’re opinion in this but i feel i’ll get alot out of the navy. The armed forces don’t get alot of support from people these days but remember one thing, They are putting their lives on the line everyday in the interests of this country, Fuck all this shit about an illegal war and that crap. That side of it is the governments fault not our forces.
Don’t forget that we will always need an force to protect us cos if they weren’t there you’d soon miss em :love:February 23, 2008 at 10:03 am #1213013globalloon wrote:i find it weird that people whose lifestyles are outlawed by this government would want to go and fight, kill and possibly die for that system :you_crazymy sister joined the army and became a medic. she did 2 tours in Basra. the first casualty she dealt with was a British Private who subsequently died; not from an injury or enemy attack but from heat exhaustion (the same thing that sometimes kills drug users in clubs) because troops weren’t allowed any down time.
