July 1, 2012 at 8:22 pm #1255534LOL I was listening to Your drutt! mix the other night tripping on K and DMT. It was so refreshing hearing your acid techno on K again. Getting do propper musical trips to it. I had forgotten what it was like listening to music of your face it had been so long.
Its these three tracks mixed that really did it for me Immersion – Right to party, Immersion – Saturday Night Fever and Chris Liberator & Darc Marc – Swarfega 340. It was like travelling through and industrial plant or something. Heres the mix im talking about. For some reason I can’t find it on the downloads section. Download totem_drutt!128kbps.mp3 from Sendspace.com – send big files the easy way

Hello. Is the download still available? When I click it, I get “you do not have permission to access this page” error.
@BioTech -Awesome stuff!
Also, could you please share the tracklist for the mix?

May 12, 2013 at 8:32 pm #1255527Sweet, cheers for the compliments. It’s good to hear people are still enjoying a mix I did probably 10+ years ago.
May 12, 2013 at 8:34 pm #1255528Although I suddenly feel a bit old as it actually feels like I did it 2 or 3 years ago 😐

Hah! You don’t get rid of them that easily. They’re not that stupid…
… have you considered an adoption agency? Admitedly they’re usually infested with pedophiles, but then again the DJ might be that way inclined too…

Another generation is enjoying your mix man, that’s awesome.
I remember when loggy first hooked me up with it when I was first getting into acid techno, I think it was in like February, I listened to it for 5 hours man.

It seems that it’s now downloadable again! :weee:Partyvibe Radio 23.06.05 DJ TOTEM – Downloads – Party Vibe Radio
November 9, 2013 at 11:28 pm #1255531Just gave it a quick scan through, and unfortunately I can’t remember much of the breaks. It was 8 years ago after all and I’ve never been great with tracknames. If there is anything you are desperate for I can dig through the vinyl and see if I can find it. As for the techno it was a bit easier as those are burnt on my brain from years of playing them out at parties.
Breaks:
1: Son Of The Electric Ghost – The great & the terrible
2: ???
3: ???
4: ??? <I remember the copy I have of it was labeled up wrong though, so even if I found it I couldn't tell you what it was. Something on Rat Records or Hardcore Beats though I think
5: ??? Sounds like the breakfastaz though
6: ???
7: ED209 – Infectious (Ils remix)
8: ???
9: ???
10: Dj Mutiny – The Distance
11: Freestylers – Punks (Krafty Kuts remix)
12: ???
13: ???
14: ???Techno:
1: A&E Dept – Rabbit’s Name Was (Kris Needs remix)
2: Immersion – RAVE
3: Kektex – Lock
4: Kektex – Inner City Junkies
5: Mr Burns – Acidville
6: ??? Something on VCF???
7: Nexus 6 – Trés Chic
8: Dj Fury – Coming Up For AirDnb @ the end: EZ Rollers – Weekend World (Calyx remix)
November 10, 2013 at 12:24 pm #1255525TBH many vinyl gramophone records of that era often lacked anything other than a white label/matrix number (to the point when I was first doing community radio PPL/PRS said “don’t bother with the reports for the dance shows, we’ve never heard of half those labels :laugh_at).
I’d always wondered how on earth Biotech managed to announce the track names correctly, as one reason I don’t often do this is that by the time I’ve turned round towards the main mixer I’ve forgotten the track name already, although I’ve now found a way to relay it to the comms PC screen.
At least today with some DJ software you can get the track history of your mix easily (though apparently its harder on Traktor than Virtual DJ, though not impossible)…
