Need to get my own CDJ’s and mixer to practice mixing on at home. Most clubs etc now stock CDJ’s as standard and I dont have any and could really do with some to practice on so I dont look like a complete tit asking how to use them when I turn up as i have a few gigs coming up in the next few months.
Dont have loads of money, just looking to see if anyones got any, name your price and ill see if i can meet it.
Cheers. :group_hugJanuary 14, 2011 at 2:34 pm #1234635hey might have a set of citronic mpcds6’s for sale in the next couple of months as i’m thinking of upgrading to pioneers soon, how much are you looking to spend?
the citronics are super for beginners. they have the loop function, pitch control, jog wheel, cue button and a few effects, everything you will need and more to start mixing.

Cheers. :group_hugif you can already mix well on turntables then cdjs will become reasonably easy with practise, you’d soon get the hang of it, creativity comes more into play when using cdjs rather than skillfull beatmatching n that.
January 16, 2011 at 6:53 pm #1234634sorry for messing you about mate.

peace.January 17, 2011 at 1:11 am #1234637no worries pal. good luck with getting urself a cheap set of cdj’s. you will not regret it!
January 17, 2011 at 1:32 am #1234633should save up the pennies myself, but beer NEEDS to be drank and ciggi’s smoked lol
but seriously, was looking at CDJ400’s and CDJ350’s, not sure which to endeavour for though
January 17, 2011 at 12:24 pm #1234638i heard they stopped making cdj 400’s now. the cdj 350’s have a good reputation if you don’t mind spending a grand for a pair.
January 28, 2011 at 1:19 pm #1234631Keep checking Freecycle, or sign up to it would be a start
I have just picked up a set off there, they are nothing special (but free!) should be enough to get the basics.
