I’m really happy you had the courage to post that. We do get a few other freeminded Americans here, but a lot of them just look at the board or put something up on the calendar and don’t post very much other stuff!
I get the impression there’s a lot more pressure on a young person in the USA to comply with societys (sometimes rather narrow-minded) norms than there is in Europe, I’ve heard terrible stuff like how someone who is a good student can lose their college grant and driving license if they get busted for a small amount of drugs, (in the Uk you’d only get a tellling off from a cop and that;s it!)
we’ve got the same “wonderland” as well in the UK and Europe, but whilst you’re in it you can’t forget that there are so many people who are opposed to it worldwide (young people in Asia and Europe are also being oprressed), sometimes you need to fight to keep that wonderland going..
