Hi
My name’s Jay, I’m 27. Feel like a bit of a fool, having missed out for so long, only discovering all this at 27. Have recently had a couple of great weekends, and a whole new world has been opened up to me 🙂
Just trying to find more info. Looks like I’ve missed the best of 2011 with all the European events, better make the most of 2012 before I’m 28.

September 25, 2011 at 3:23 am #1245108Right, time to cut to the chase. How do I get involved in this………new world? I really don’t know where to begin. Go on give me a hint. I have mates that enjoy the odd dubstep night, but beyond that, I’m lost.
September 25, 2011 at 3:58 am #1245104I’m a late comer as well, i find it hard to orgasm.

September 27, 2011 at 3:36 pm #1245105Welcome mate. You’re not going to get too much help here I wouldn’t think, for all we know you could be a copper, or someone looking to turn people over, anything. I’m sure you’re not but I don’t think you’ll get much of a hand. But if you go out to some nights, and speak to some people, you will end up being connected 🙂 If I’m ever in Kent I’ll give you a shout.
October 30, 2011 at 2:39 am #1245109Oh, look I’m back. I thought my last message would have come across as desperate. Maybe it is?
I’m happy to lay myself bare. Up until a recent experience, I could not understand the exagerated energy, and pure love for beats. Now, now I do. Even in everyday life, I’ve had the experience, I understand. You cannot replicate it, but music brings back, and supplies those feelings. Well to me that is true.
So. My plan. Next year, 2012. I want to see lots; lots and lots. I’m lucky I can take a few months off :crazy_dru. But being a noob, I’ll just be a weirdo with a pimpin’ van. The new High Contrast song brings those feelings back, neeed to get out there…….
October 30, 2011 at 2:41 am #1245098Never to late to enjoy the music :bounce: and the beats 🙂

I understand what you’re saying. There’s obviously a, hmmmm, not barrier, but a level of trust you have to reach, and the internet is not a place of trust. I’m comfortable in giving up more info than I should (there’s not an appropriate smilie), the time to be super caustious has passed. There’s only time to enjoy yourself, or time to be wasted. I’ve had enough of one. is there IM on here?
October 30, 2011 at 7:01 pm #1245095in Kent there were a number of unlicensed psy-trance events but these have increasingly been heavily shut down. I am not sure where they are advertised.
it is currently hard to get legal EDM events licensed in many parts of SE England as the Councils are wary of issues with drugs/crime – TBH you may find it less hassle to simply travel to London where there are more such events which are underground but legal (and will probably meet folk from Kent and similar areas who might tell you about any unlicensed events).

(If you are on facebook, loads of sound systems on there – and several do legal nights, or have their contact no’s up…)
