Hell yeah mate, only saw it for the first time last night & thought ‘I’ve gotta re-post that, it’s fucking brilliant and shows the benefit of learning & getting as much education as you can, especially if you do something that is essentially wordplay! Wish I had a teacher like that when I was at school…

lol
September 25, 2012 at 2:04 pm #1259102I used to be an MC. And I’m white.
September 25, 2012 at 3:17 pm #1259097its funny but when you realise this is the image the whole world is getting of the British dance music scene (and stuff like n-dubz etc apart from even the boy is more mature than Dappy) now you can understand why folk are frightened to admit they are into EDM as soon as they get older than 30

I still am. And I’m still white! Speaking of MC-ing Crispy, what’s happening with your pie rap dude? I wanna hear that man.
September 25, 2012 at 4:32 pm #1259103The lyrics are written, the backing track is sorted, just need to borrow me mates mic so I can record the rap itself and the chorus.
This is based on a certain brand also. I’m hoping to gain sponsorship maybe. lol I will get a rough version up ASAP.

Wicked dude, well looking forward to it! I ain’t ever heard anyone rap about pies before, reckon this could be a first man, cool.
September 25, 2012 at 6:36 pm #1259104members of N dubz always go on ‘never mind the buzzcocks’ and always get completely annihilated…but still come back for more! I don’t like them by any means but anyone who can laugh at themselves is OK in my book.
September 25, 2012 at 7:03 pm #1259098either that or they don’t realise what is going on or just look at the money, realising their fame will be short lived and their publicists (who are a bit smarter than them) keep encouraging them to do so.
As a contrast (and I confess to only finding this out via a news site as my Dutch isn’t quite good yet to listen to the “brainy” radio, I can sometimes make out what is on the “youth” stations) there was a interview with Armin Van Buuren on their equivalent of Radio 4 (speech based, middle aged presenters)
AVB had a really indepth discussion over the dance music scene, encouraging new talent, linking traditional radio broadcasting formats with specialist music, and expressing his concerns over unequal gender distribution on both broadcasting and the music events themselves…

Wot ? There are a lot of rappers that only talk about pie, they just call it a different name… in fact it’s just about all they talk about ^^
