sorry for late reply.

erm, well its not quality as such… but its whats called xmax (the measurement of how far the driver cone can go forward and backward before it breaks off)… obviously at lower frequencies it moves more, so if make it too loud at the lower frequencies (or even higher ones), then its gunna go boom. Its especially easy to do this when you eq the bass up. however if you keep it down a bit it should be fine… but i always found that EQing speakers makes the mix sound rather muddy

Ah no worries then … as i was only going to EQ down 😉 …. theses spearker are made rugged as fuck for studio monitors anyways 🙂
