February 28, 2005 at 7:18 pm #1064431Funny you should post that, but I used to buy a fair few kinder eggs in my teen years.
One day I opened one and there was no paper instructions or documentation like usual. Just a shark with lazy eyes, a magic carpet and a bong that fitted in his mouth.
It didn’t look kinderish either.
What do you reckon? Someone at the factory having a laugh? Where are they made anyway? The dam? Maybe some of the Dam batch got mixed up with some UK eggs.
I can take some pics if you want!

must have been a renegade factory worker, cant say ive bought dutch kinder b4, i would have thought they are all made in 1 country then shipped..fair play to whoever that was!
always found it moderately funny that they were kinder suprise..like they are only kind of a suprise because you knew what sort of thing was innit. sounds like you got a proper suprise!
photos please!

that’s well funny
i used to work in a sweet factory making health sweets
things like sugar free vitamin C ribena gumsand cough sweets
but ohhhh the wasps
we used to trap them inside boiled sweets, jurassic park style.. cruel, but fuck it. it’s a wasp.
food that contains pharmaceutical addatives (added vitamins, cough linctus, chloroform etc) has to be produced using ‘good manufacturing practice’, which means that each person has to sign for each stage of each batch of sweets
a cough sweet was returned once from a consumer with a big, thick, black hair, like something off a walrus scrote, running right the way through it and poking out either side.
it was a half sucked sweet 😡
and we were able to trace it back to ‘monkey joe’ the world’s most hairy-nosed sweet maker
