…a barn owl. Maybe not that impressive to some people but we were coming home in the van from doing the soundsystem at a club and pulled up in a layby to have a coffee and a smoke. Then bold as brass it came flying past us and hovered around looking for rodents.

It then took perch on top of a road sign looking super cool and then did a bit more hovering around. It has to be the first time I’ve ever seen one in the wild I think. Gutted I didn’t have a decent camera with me, the phone cam was a bit lame.

Anyway. Boring to most people I guess, but thought I’d share.

I think it’s great walking around at night watching the animals you normally don’t see in the day time

(unless it’s rats,I can live without them)

I had one fly right across my windscreen once when i was driving up a dusty lane on the way to a party.
the whole of the windscreen was covered by its wings and body for a few seconds.
It was pretty shocking but an amazing thing to see.

Seeing owls is always awesome, i dont no why … im not really into the whole nature thing but owls have a certain thing about ’em …

plus up north you dont get ’em in chester city center so never really saw them unless at the zoo …

Not boring at all, barn owls are beautifull.
I once had one sit on my shoulder and it shit on me lmao yeah cheers for that mr barn owl :laugh_at:
