i dont know how old you think i am, but im no youngun. In answer to your question. i do not think it makes the slightest bit of difference if there is swearing in thread titles.

how many people swear or not makes no difference whatsover to the safety of this forum. if it did, we would have said something about it a fair while ago.

if people don’t want to see swearing on a internet connection they pay for there are tons of filters and censorship software they can use at their end…

as for any randoms like parents, landowners, OB or anyone else what would actually get pissed off with the contents of the forum, swearing would be the least of the issues of their concern…

in one job where there was a filter I used to get blocked from my own threads if I swore too much (but of course I could view the threads at home).

i’m an adult, by common definition. not that this makes any particular difference, however you’ve made it very clear in many past posts that it makes all the difference and indeed if you are under 30 you’re opinion is immediately childish etc. – sounds like the tories down the pub what tell me to grow up just ‘cos i don’t agree with their xenophobic, backward views!

all i can say is, just to revert back to the obvious example:

Personally, I think bad grammar, punctuation and spelling makes more of a difference. And coloured writing.

I agree presentation means alot to new comers, but as far as the site Is clean, and the actual articles and pages are neat and well written, I dont think anything that anyone posts should influence someones opinion of the place in that such a way only maybe the person posting If they are feeling that artificially judgemental.

I would have thought with the nature of free parties, that most people who came here would look past such simple things as words (especially when not aimed as an insult). I would have thought people would understand people are used to speaking differently in everyday life. Me and my mates talk about shagging each others mums, take the piss out of the fat/ugly and basically pick at things that don’t really matter to us in that way, even though we don’t mean It. We all know this aswell.

I try to see the best in people, April, but sometimes you can seem really childish in the ways you react to things. Especially that PM you sent to Process… Hypocritical too. Taking him off your friends list too? You’d rather keep in time your electronic friend list with people off the internetz and knock people off it resulting in arguments, rather than leave it and just live your life? Seems slightly pathetic :crazy_diz
