that Altai unti isn’t 19inch, but doesn’t look rack mountable anyway … may have to rethink this xD

WTF is that Jamaican Stone all about…

The stone will produce some milky fluid. The milky fluid is the substance that we would want to use. The milky fluid will then be applied to the sensitive part of the male’s penis, mainly the head.

                          More than 10 available / 114 sold <— wow @ a tenner a pop.

you can make a very cheap 19″ cab out of a kitchen base cabinet and a piece of wood (also certain IKEA occasional tables are perfect for repurposing as a 19″ rack according to the Dutch hackers)

There is deliberately a big gap left between the recorder at the bottom and the behringer kit and it is up top because those have old fashioned linear power supply and run hot.. (case temp is about 40 degrees celsius of more)

My dad used to be a carpenter, so buying ikea wood would cost wayyy more then building it from scratch out of mdi. 😉

Alternative strategy which takes a bit of time but gives nicer material (and cheap) compared to MDF;-

                                    – recycle the wood from old shipping pallets.

I was going to build a wing chun dummy out of old telegraph poles, but sourcing materials like that is a pain in the arse and I’d rather pay the extra for ease of access.

I would have thought that but the tables only £5 / €5 (and slightly less in Norway, maybe they are made there?)

Even though they are apparently made of composite material which isn’t even as strong as MDF folk have made 20U racks out of them by stacking them…

that kit is mine – ICR-FM do self build racks out of wood (but with the correct strips), a few are on my flickr group but more recently we got given two proper ones from the old “this is heart” station as when they made their broadcast engineer redundant he was alllowed to fill his van with whatever the admin staff overseeing the downsizing thought surplus. BTW the “posh” ones are still made out of MDF anyway just painted grey or colour coordinated with the rest of the desk.
