a Friend of mine has not returned from Devon on saturday night, the car he came down in left without him as they were of the belief he had left earlier, however he has not returned and we are now on day 3!

im really hoping he has just pulled some fit laydee and is right now “smashing her backdoors in!” however no contact has been made & this is out of character for him,

I do believe the police have been called,

any devon ravers out there know of his whereabouts please get in touch, his name is Joel Andrews & is from south wales,

many of you may know Joel

Sorry mate that dont sound like good news , and certainly not the news any one of us wanted to hear . It still might not be Joel though but it still means some ones come to harm and some ones family has lost some one 🙁 . Very sad news !!!!

The only comfort now is that the time of uncertainty is over. They found him and that means the mourning-process can start. It always better to know and have a grave the family can go to in this hour of darkness. I wish his family and friends the best and all the strength in the world to come trough this.

It’s been confirmed that the body they found was that of Joel Andrews…. sad time for his family but as sinner said they can now start to grieve…. RIP Joel x

The family of Joel Andrews, who went missing on the 22nd May 2011, have confirmed that the body found yesterday at Ferworthy Reservoir was that of Joel.

Our sincere sympathys go out to Joel’s Family and friends who have worked tirelessly to raise awareness of his disappearance over these past 6 weeks.

no. These things take time and have to be done by the proper channels and in a way that doesn’t prejudice future investigation.

This remains an open Police inquiry so all of us on here have to be mindful of how we discuss things – out of respect for the chaps friends and family (some of whom are reading or contributing) as well as simply “following the rules”.
