Hello, hope you are all well. It’s my first post so I thought I would say hello.
I live in Middlesbrough, but I have been to a few messy nights and outdoor free partys with Wibble in Nottingham. Much respect to them for last months outdoor extravaganza. 17 hours went too quick.
Anyway, does anyone know of a free party scene in the North East? Cos from my looking it seems to be a bit of a desert in this respect. Surely not.
Thanks for yer help.

April 24, 2007 at 11:15 am #1103486Thanks for the welcome Raj and Angel.
I’ve been luking for a while now, having enjoyed the Notts stuff and wanting more.
You can find Wibble here http://www.myspace.com/wibbleplease
I’ve known Viewfinder for a few years now. He is a high quality person, and is a good friend of my brother, hence my entry into the messy business.Day to day it is Dad whats that?, Dad look at this, etc etc. So it nice to gat a bit mashed now and then.
As for music, check the Wibble site and you will understand that side of things, but it has to be said that I like only the best, have most stuff in my collection but faves must be (looks for cover) old school hip hop, blues and Jamacan ska.
It seems to me that free partys are quite concentrated in certain areas, and sparse in others, I wonder why this is.
I know I am new here, but a shove in the right direction for North East outdoorness would be great.
Cheers.April 24, 2007 at 11:45 am #1103482Some areas of England are on lockdown [zero tolerance of raves] as a result of earlier overuse of the areas.
There are also likely to be people whose parties never get mentioned in the forum as it is as easy for the authorities to read them as it is for us….

April 24, 2007 at 4:15 pm #1103487Thanks people,
I think I am gonna struggle a bit getting contacts etc cos I’m not out clubbin regularly, but I’ll keep me ear to the ground.I’ve been talking to my brother about bringing his small system up and doing a friends party somewhere. I’ve got two ideas for country locations and one beach, so we’ll see what happens.
Thanks, D.
