I’m just looking for friends to share experiences with…..like this nice video I made while hiding in the weeds on my next freight train westbound. This was in Missoula, Montana. I just hope the moderator can allow the video up soon for all to view its grand glory.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFQC-b7J2BQ
Please enjoy, if it ever gets approved and able to be viewed because all my train videos are most spectacular! (I only have this crappy camera, but it’s enough to show viewers what’s going on in the hobo train hopping world).
~ “Shoestring” ~~~~~~~~~
PS……..I have well over 50+ train hopping videos to share if y’all would be interested, that is.
I’m a really good guy, but in no way a cop.You guys all have a nice evening and a restful night ~~~~~~~~

December 18, 2012 at 11:57 am #1264090this is the British sense of humo(u)r – its a joke using the computer software, we don’t think you are cop. I didn’t realise folk still hopped on freight trains like that still, I’ve seen it in movies about the USA!
Its not as common here (if done at all) because border force agents and transport cops and anti terrorism cops search through all the carriages and their cargo regularly because there have been bombs at our stations and authorities here are way paranoid about drugs coming in via freight transport as well as illegal immigration (the UK is a much smaller county). I can see why folk do it in the USA as its big…

There’s a voice that keeps on calling me
Down the road, that’s where I’ll always be.
Every stop I make, I make a new friend,
Can’t stay for long, just turn around and I’m gone again
Maybe tomorrow, I’ll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I’ll just keep moving on.
Down this road that never seems to end,
Where new adventure lies just around the bend.
So if you want to join me for a while,
Just grab your hat, come travel light, that’s hobo style.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, the whole world is my home.
So if you want to join me for a while,
Just grab your hat, come travel light, that’s hobo style

Maybe tomorrow, I’ll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I’ll just keep moving on.
There’s a world that’s waiting to unfold,
A brand new tale no-one has ever told.
We’ve journeyed far far and know it wont be long;
We’re almost there, and we’ve paid our fare with our hobo song.
Maybe tomorrow, I’ll want to settle down,
Until tomorrow, I’ll just keep moving on.
So if you want to join me for a while,
Just grab your hat, come travel light, that’s hobo style.
Maybe tomorrow, I’ll find what I call home, Until tomorrow, you know I’m free to roamDont really remember the show, something about a stray dog helping peeps, but so remember singing along to the theme song lol
As for the thread, I recon everyones first reaction when they see it is WTF……………… well maybe a couple think ‘shit their on to me’ lol
Have to admit this is the first forum I have come across with that username function activated, but yeah length/age of threads and the fact it says ‘username’ if you try to quote it are a giveaway for anyone that pays attention lol

Dude…iv had that song in my head for months!! I think it started when i watched an episode of bo selecta with trisha and they parody that song. Then me and the bf checked out the littlest hobo theme. Sometimes i wont have the song in my head and then jay blurts it out and im all like ‘dag-nammit its back in mah head again!’
its a beauty that song, only second to knightrider.December 18, 2012 at 11:54 pm #1264104@p0ly 512603 wrote:

He did, I think he is talking about the very first username thread, when it first popped up I admit even I fell for it, but you can’t read my post cos it got deleted allong with two-thousand other posts. I remember my first thread on here too. It went along the lines of “can you tell me where the free parties are please. Anyway the first username post was the have a nice day one or the what are you doing one. Dr B made it although back then he went by the name of Site.
