Seriously. This has never happened to me before. Waiting for the bus home from Clapham last night, chatting to this girl.
Head over heads man. Beautiful. Intrested.
Why the fuck did I not get her number? I’m literally kicking myself. You know that point where you need to step up, seize the moment?
Well I failed.
Twat.
On the plus side, she got off at the stop before me, so she does live local. Maybe if it’s meant to be our paths will cross again? Although thats a pretty slim chance in London. I’m kinda understanding all those notes you read in the metro about ‘met you on the 10.40 train to wherever….’
I may start going out more in Clapham, just in case though.

July 27, 2008 at 10:20 am #1176841Aww I’m sorry for you! 🙁 … Just, whatever you do, don’t start stalking her or something. Otherwise that “Interested” bit will turn into “Restraining order”.
Hope you see her again some other time though. I’m sure you will! XDJuly 27, 2008 at 11:49 am #1176826Tell the police you met someone on the bus home that told you they were a terrorist.
They will do the finding for you and phone you to i.d her when they do.

I think you will see her again and when you do get the number!!!July 27, 2008 at 1:58 pm #1176827Actually even better….put up a poster at at the bus stop with your face on it saying
“missing. If you saw or spoke to this guy on the bus yesterday then phone this number (get yourself a spare phone and use the number from that)”
Shes gotta fall for that and you won’t even look that creepy.

Next time something like that happens go say hello, you won’t come across as creepy, just friendly.

However, after 24 very single years I’m starting to realise that sometimes you’ve just gotta bite the bullet and ask. She can only say no.
And it’s ok. I fell in love with another girl who was speaking at a climate change debate in Putney tonight. Just so many interesting pretty girls around……………
And Johnny- I moved to S. London in May. AND I FUCKING LOVE IT!!!!
July 28, 2008 at 9:44 pm #1176819AnonymousHang around her buss stop for the next 3 weeks then follow her everywhere. Sitt in her garden under in the pouring rain with just a coppy of the daily sport to keep you dry.
Iff the old bill nick you just say ” I think she loves me “.
I used this tactic with a girl I met called Jill Dando

and sometimes this is what the girl is waiting for – prehaps not having the courage to ‘make the first move’ herself,(trust me – I’ve been there many times and ended up ‘taking the bull by the horns’ so to speak myself )
and if you have conserns she might think your ‘slimey’ – rationalise it –
are you ‘slimey’? no –
so why would you come across as that?so on that note go forth and enjoy :bounce_fl:bounce_fl

July 29, 2008 at 10:29 pm #1176825mate those moments don’t happen often
a while ago when i lived in the middle east i met a really beautiful english girl called Z and we got on well, but nothing happened at that time
about 6 months after i moved back to england i was waiting for a bus near clapham, just by the wandsworth bridge and a bus pulled in (not my bus). i thought i saw her sitting on the bus and i’d been thinking about her on and off ever since i’d last seen her, wondering what could have happened. just as the bus was pulling away she clocked me standing there and jumped up to the window, mouthing my name
but it was too late
