Hi all

i’m Andy from dunstable,got into raving in 91 when i felt iwas missing out and found out about milwaukees in rushden (fookin madhouse).

after that dreamscape 2 in feb 92, then exodus collective came together and after missing their first big do due to going to lovelight (in an underground carpark under hatters in luton on 2 bart simpsons, was a very trippy night, they only seemed to have strobes in a pitch black car park and at 2 am the pissheads all came in.)

But then craddock road luton became exoduses squat for a bit and it was exodus almost every weekend for a while. Also the sanctuary became very big for parties around then and helter skelter and all the others were visited as i knew security guards and could jump the queues, (dont you just hate those fuckers who just walk past the queue with a member of staff and just get iN tee-hee) remember gods kitchen and cyberdelia and er oooh lots more although never did a slammin’ vinyl as i was into trance by then ( my taste has reverted back to harder styles of dance now though).

then came tribal gathering in luton hoo 2 years in a row, i remember the first one in 96 (still got the FREEDOM TO DANCE tee shirt) 5 mdea love doves, oh god my lips were so sore for weeks.
round about this time we started going to the gallery at turnmills regularly, and on my 10th anniversary with my partner sindy in 97 ( who i am still with and have a 3 year old with) we held a party and called it the candy bar, from this came a twice monthly party, once a month upstairs at the winston churchill pub at dunstable and once amonth in the back room at ceasars palace, luton. we also linked up with Garooba from speed the plough for a couple of parties.

then in 2000 or 2001 we did a couple of RTTS (return to the source) parties in the rocket in holloway road, they were very good.

sincethen i dont really think ive been anywhere except festivals (guilfest, glastonbury, strawberry fair and a few others) although last year we traded at guilfest. we were called the coffee grinder and were located near the surrey advertiser tent round the back from the main stage. we sold coffee tea and also we ground up coffee as we had it in about 30 flavours and 14 straights. we had a mad time serving coffee from 6am to 2am, had an impromtu band session almost in front of our tent at 1am by an acoustic band, this was most cool.
we also had a stall on snetterton market last autumn next to ali bongos.
