Huh, me too.
Never noticed it in Minchin though. Personally I cant stand hanging around with or seeing othjer people with autism, they just seem so broken. I shout at them inside my head, mostly things like “Oh shit, what the hell are you doing? Sit the fuck down, jesus christ,”December 2, 2010 at 2:53 pm #1232152@JRGiger 409175 wrote:

Perhaps you should read about it before making such judgements, even internal ones. If I ever meet you I will do my best to keep away, I would hate to seem broken to you.
unless I have totally the wrong end of the stick? you seem nice so perhaps I have?

I know alot about it, used to be very interested in it. It’s the lack of autists knowing how to behave in public and the things they say that pisses me off, but I know better than to actually say anything about it.

heaven forbid we dont all act and behave in exactly the same way. You clearly dont know a lot about it otherwise you wouldn’t be making daft sweeping statements like that.
You are however giving me good practise at holding my tongue.

I suppose this is going to take some time. Okay i’ll start it off at embarrisment. When someone does something embarrising, it embarrises me and makes me feel uncomfortable. I cant watch mister bean without having to leave the room every time he does something very very stupid. So naturally when someone with autism, or someone else who doesnt understand the unwritten rules of society, it makes me very uncomfortable. I understand it’s a very illogical form of empathy, and really it’s the only kind of empathy I experiance.

ahhh in that case I do apologise, I get that to, I wasn’t aware that it was almost like a reflex response. I thought you were logically arguing it was wrong to act differently in public, sorry man.
Yeah I get that a lot, even with stuff on TV I actually hide my eyes is someone does something I perceive to be embarrassing.
Really am sorry about that my bad

No problem, these things happen to everyone. Logically it’s okay to be differant, but emotionally things that are differant automatically register as bad to some people. This purely on an unrelated note mind you.
