anyway. if i lost this phone i have now ..boy oh boy…i have pics on here i treasure.naughty pics sent to boyfriend…not expicit tho:wink: picture s mean so much…..and a few videos of the dog playing footie…(yes our dog would out tackle anyone of you…believe)raaa
and one of my daughter singing mummy mummy i love you ( a cute song she learnt at school )
whats on your phone that means the most to you…ie photos.messages.video…..???????September 25, 2008 at 10:45 am #1179911Well the phone I have now doesn’t even have Infrared, never mind take pics or videos. Im happy it has Integrated SMS technology!
On my phone before this though that I lost, I had loads of wicked stuff. Alot I backed up though, as Ive learnt the hard way before… Mostly all party videos which obviously are irreplaceable. And a few others of closer to home vids of me and friends in varying states :laugh_at:
I lost my old phone once though in the hills, and managed to find it 3 days later, still with battery! Go back and have a look with someone elses phone and keep ringing. Take your dog, maybe he’s good at finding stuff too :weee:
September 25, 2008 at 11:25 am #1179905AnonymousI backup my phone to my computer? you should too!!! (well not my computer) unless you have no computer, but i feel thats unlikely given the medium in which we communicate. Is that poor english? probably.
How can you have naughty but not explicit pics? are you robbing a bank in them or something? 😛 heheSeptember 25, 2008 at 11:40 am #1179907Dom_sufc;237335 wrote:Well the phone I have now doesn’t even have Infrared, never mind take pics or videos. September 25, 2008 at 3:30 pm #1179914I have a very crappy Nokia, no pics no vids no mp3, only the basics. If I did have lots of nice stuff on it I’d stick on my PC so any loss didn’t result in tears
September 25, 2008 at 3:44 pm #1179910I hate my phone. i’m getting a new one in Oct. I’m going to smash my old one up with a rusty hammer!
September 25, 2008 at 5:08 pm #1179908I just keep numbers in my phone – although it does other things I dont have the relevant data cable and dont use it for them.
September 25, 2008 at 7:02 pm #1179915i’m rubbish at technology lark…phone is used to phone or text. thats impressive enough for me :laugh_at:

Maybe use a re-writable CD next time for extra backup measures ;D
September 25, 2008 at 9:29 pm #1179920cheers dom, i will defo do that:wink:
September 28, 2008 at 1:21 pm #1179917I’m quite OCD :crazy_diz so eveything on my photo is backed up regularly. The only thing I would really miss is the phone itself as I don’t have insurance anymore so I wouldn’t be able to replace it with anything as nice.
September 28, 2008 at 3:23 pm #1179906I’m lucky enough to work in a senior IT role and have access to a lot of storage resources, so everything off my phone is backed up onto both my personal and work pc’s…
I am also fairly careful about backups as I’ve had kit at work blown up by power surges and making backups definitely paid off..
also I use a ericsson K800i and often use the camera when I can’t be
bothered to get my other digital camera out (such as if I’m cycling and see something worth a photo but don’t want to have to stop and delve around in my pannier bagsmost modern phones come with a CD-rom and the data cable (well sony erricsons do anyway) an all the software is available online..
as for phone numbers I also print these out onto sheets of paper (from outlook contacts) and put these printouts in safe places…
