Thats madness….with 6 tabs open mine down at 42,000k, dipping to 21,000k when its settled.
In comparison to firefoxes 58,000k dropping to 38,000k with the same tabs.

I’m not computer literate enough to really know the difference between them and never heard of IE (?)

There is a difference. Firefox 2 compared with IE 7… FF has a better interface. Loads “cleaner” looking, and more simple to use imo. It also has better security and has loads of features. Including Add ons that you can get, like Ebay sidebars ect.
IE 7 though, seems to be trying to hard too re invent itself, to be like other browsers. But their re style looks wank and is dodgy to use.

Discuss.
Why do you ask that?…Does it really matter?…Internet Explorer 7 Pro is quite good…One thing I have noticed, is that no matter how good they all are, a lot of the time, mozilla and firefox are NOT very compatable with a lot of programs….You spend half the day messing about with settings for this that and the other…Personally, they are all crap, but until party vibe have their own browser program, we have to put up with whatever we have!
