December 23, 2013 at 3:01 pm #1250781no way I’m a police, even if I am, I will still wander around here and party a little more.
December 23, 2013 at 3:37 pm #1249720this is “Western/British” humour. The real joke is for those of us who live in these countries is that using an undercover police officer to track what is harmless discussions about legal events (even the discussion about drugs is on a different site) would be such a level of overreaction that it can be laughed about. I appreciate people come here from all over the world, and for some this kind of joke might not be so funny (my extended family are from Malaysia and its only very recently that this country has started to approach “western” levels of tolerance and freedom…).

Could I be so bold as to say you have a kind aura?
Also, this thread, as cracking as it is, probably dosnt help the number of new forum members PV receives.
April 16, 2014 at 11:11 am #1250789I hope you mean I’m an ex member of The Police with Sting… Only police interaction I’ve had is being ticketed for drunken disorderly in Camden. 🙂
April 16, 2014 at 12:07 pm #1249721this is an old joke left over from when this site had the drugs and other “naughty” stuff on it. today there wouldn’t even be a problem with a copper or anyone else in the emergency services listening to EDM, as long as they weren’t doing something like caning the bandwidth on their airwave / TETRA radio to listen via a stream when they should be on duty instead (such access should be blocked anyway by the constabulary’s IT boffins…) :laugh_at:
even in the 2000s quite a few cops said they liked dance music, and would volunteer for the shifts policing venues that played it; me and my friends have encountered cops who used to be ravers (they weren’t bullshitting as some undercover op, they were genuinely interested in the scene) and only crossed the blue line after people they knew had negative experiences with drugs.
a lot of Fire Brigade and Ambulance staff as well as soldiers of many countries listen to the music from this site as well…
April 17, 2014 at 8:57 am #1250773The truth: I am a 19 year old teenager from Romania who has never been to a teknival, just to small rave partyes, and what’s the thing with my name? Andrey comes from my nickname and DBB Drum&Bass Bastard, I am very surprised that a topic has been opened just to shut down my account :lol_big:
Peace & Dub people 🙂 , don’t worry I am not a cop, I try to hide from them because here in Romania this :bounce_ci is illegal and not even a bit tolerated, so calm down… AND RAVE ON !!!April 17, 2014 at 9:54 am #1249722this is what is known as “British humour”, as in UK our cops do not actually pose as ravers any more (they tried that, and too many young cops got into drugs and had to leave the force). the way it works is the same way that facebook or snapchat or your mobile telephone company knows your name.
April 25, 2014 at 1:24 pm #1249694Anonymouslmao awesome 🙂
