I need motivation!

I want to apply for this new job at a uni as health and wellbeing officer, it a bit more money, but it will actually give me the opportunity to use my brain and interect with people face to face. It sounds like my current job could actually be the perfect experience for the new job. ive just got to fill out the application form by the 12 sept. Hopefully this new job will get me enjoying my weeks as well as the weekends and hopefuly it will mean i wont get so wrecked at the weekend cause ill feel like the job i do during the week is actually important. Anyway motivation, reminding and general bullying pls until ive filled the application form in… Thanks. :love:

ever since I first saw you come on here (even as a guest user, I know that range of IP addresses very well :wink:) you have spent the last few years becoming dependent on income from and thus feeding the very machinery of Government that you claim on many occasions to despise..

if you get this job you will be doing something far more worthwhile, maybe helping people going through rough times stay in education and secure their futures (it is actually very stressful for students these days, the pressure and intensity of work is higher despite allegations of dumbing down..)

i do actually feel like i could be good at this job because i have found staying in education quite hard and if it hadnt been for various good teachers, support workers, friends and my parents i would still be living at home with my parents. Fair play i havent got an actual degree, but what i have experienced from life has been worth every penny ive spent on my student loan. i know just experiencing somthing isnt always enough, but i do think in this instance (hopefuly) it should help me… I also love to help people. Having it face to face as well instead of over the p[hone like my current job would mean i could be a lot more empathetic if you know what i mean. gonna get on it tonight i reckon. Cheers.

ive done the easy bits, just got to write down why i would be good for the job and why i want it etc etc, they dont want a cv, so thats less to think of think most of it is based around the interview, which hopefully (touch wood) i should be alright at…
keep the motivational prods coming tho! :love: 😉

Dooo it! Draft it out on pretty paper and with smnelly pens and bubble writing if you must ahaha, i always find the boxes and dulness of forms put me right off looking at them…especially forms that involve giving money. It’s all about the interview for jobs like that anyway…just breeze in and show them you’re the right person to invest serious time in…sounds like you have the enthusiasm!
