Did everyone have a good un?

After yet another free party getting shut down as we arrived, and no directions for the relocation me and my mates ended up seeing Sunday morning in the beautiful Bracknel forest with a bottle of wine!

We had one really spot on copper though last night, he was like I’m sorry I really don’t wanna ruin your party, and was happy to have a joke around with us and let my mate dance with him, saw him later sat in his car eating cheese sandwiches and gave him a wave!

The mosiquitos got me bad in the forest though, I’ve counted 28 bites so far…

my weekend was ace, got messy in blackpool and went on a random rides and did random things, 8 of us in a campsite :weee:

Got to the party, but the police had already driven off with the rig!:hopeless:

Mine was ok. Busy busy busy.

Always a pleasure to play with the soundsystem, but it is also a chore to hire it out none the less. Glad everyone had a good one. Shame to hear about the problems BSE direction though.

Went to a party near MK .. it had one police car blocking the track, we decided to just walk down it .. they where like

“what ya doin then?” ..

“goin to the party” was our reply ..

“ok, have fun, were off now its quite far down the track though just to warn ya!” was their reply! lol

Anyways party was alot bigger then i thought it would be, saw loads of people i ent seen in ages .. met new people, sets where all good, loads of different stuff played, loads of random silly stuff too ..

was a nice atmosphere n all .. everyone was still having it right till the end.

It did get shut down bout 11, had an extra hour than supposed to and the police just watched to make sure they packed up then left.

So yeah, i find it weird how police can be so safe at some party’s and at others they get shut down and rigs taken before they’ve even started. :you_crazy

Although you can’t trust this format all the time, it’s usually because the location has been chosen well and there are no complaints. It’s also a lot to do with how you treat the police when they arrive and how well organised you are/look. It also helps if you haven’t pissed them off in the past and you are not known to the police.

It’s never a fail safe, but if you follow the above they are usually quite friendly and helpful. However, sometimes they are out to prove a point and will be out for blood whatever the situation.

spent saturday driving round the north norfolk coast and exploring the lesser known beaches.

in the evening went to a little b/day shindig in a field not too far away with a little rig in a tent playing some good breaks and oldskool jungle.(was quite funny trying to find it to begin with, we heard music so followed it and ended up at blickling hall where they were having a concert) left quite early tho.

got a distress call from a mate in the morning who was ‘stuck’ at the party in suffolk so went to try and find him, which was a wee bit difficult due to low phone battery and lack of signal. drove around for nearly 2hours:crazy_diz

eventually found him and was going to drive down to the party but was told not to bother as it was about to get shut down.
