Look at the top of the page under the banner picture, you find a bar with buttons containing drop-down menus, the one with yellow letters saying ‘Subscribe’ is the one you want, click that > ‘Buy a subscription’ > follow the instructions

skint people regularly travel without tickets on normal trains (and can often evade the authorities or are simply ignored) but The UK is small so freight trains only go to certain parts of it, usually where the bulk cargo they contain is used (such as coals or chemicals in tank) or to offload isotainers at warehouses.

I’m not 100% sure what a boxcar is in British English or if we even still have them (I think we did but it was even before I was born).

The contents would usually be parcels or loads bulkier than what the postie could deliver but not quite enough for a whole or half isotainer which aren’t often transported by train these days. So if anyone found one, got into one and managed to elude BTP [1] and UK Border Force (who search through freight trains regularly) they’d only end up at somewhere like Felixstowe or Scunthorpe or in some industrial wasteland amongst piles of coal, and the feds and ambo would take them off to mental hospital anyway as only a complete lunatic in desperate need of help would try such a stunt.

[1] British Transport Police – we have special bobbies to look after the main line railways and metropolitan (light) railways (the London Underground, and various others). similar to the rest of the cops here they rarely carry firearms but concentrate on keeping public transport networks safe rather than a definied geographic area.
