Im just curious, what’s the system behind my ‘rank’? I only registered an account with the site a week ago and within a few days went from registered user to senior member. Wondered how this was decided is all. Is it based on length of time registered, threads posted, likes received etc??

I think it’s to do with post count, the senior member status, not hair/loss greying. Although if you get to several thousand posts it may well be a contributing factor. :laugh_at:
September 11, 2012 at 11:22 am #1257836Lol the hair loss thing is going off on a bit of a tangent isnt it lol. Doubt its number of posts as me and gazatryptamine are both senior members and I only have just short of 50 posts while he has just under 6000.

September 11, 2012 at 11:31 am #1257819its done on post count. We do not care here if you are a long haired hippy, or bald as a coot, nor do we have any miracle cures or wigs to sell. Anyone trying to sell these by nefarious means will be identified and made to jog on.
A friend of mine who was faced increasing baldness in his 20s (which afflicts a fair few men), compensated for this by obtaining (and often wearing at raves) a shocking pink fright wig. this style was also copied by various others for a period (hence the term “multi wig party” occuring on flyers).
I believe he even wore it whilst driving in Bristol and South Gloucestershire – even through towns and cities, and this behaviour went completely unnoticed.

I had a friend who had a significant bald spot by 15 and wss uding just for men by 18. Not seen him in a few years but im guessing now at 24 hes adopted a combover or wears a toupee.

There’s nothing wrong with going off on a tangent mate, I myself used to go off on a lot of tangents when I was younger, but it got expensive in the end, so I decided to start breeding tangents for other people to go off on. Business was good, really good until the recession bit, took off 3 of my fingers, little bastard! I had the last laugh though, one of my tangents had been specially trained as a guard tangent & attacked the recession & saw it off for a while. I noticed on the news recently that the recession is back, don’t think it’ll wanna come near me again though. Anyway, I digress (but only on sundays). These days I only have one tangent left & it’s only a baby, so no good for anybody to go off on yet, it’s got some growing to do. I think I might keep this one though, reminds me of a simpler time. Hope that’s cleared things up for you, be nice to tangents!

I dont mind tangents at all, in fact im quite fond of tangents. Although I prefer satsumas and better still if I can get myself a kumkwat (never had to spell that word before so fuck knows lol). Oh wait they’re… Never mind. So whats your favourite fruit?? Mine is freddie mercury

there is a surprisingly rational reason for this thread drift. At the same time you posted this we were targeted by a Chinese spammer advertising products for those afflicted by hair loss.
even more bizzarely this is the same day Prince William went to Asia on a diplomatic tour, they must think we are all bald here…

I think this is depends on the administrator of the web site because he can remove you and made you senior or junior member it’s all depends on him but i think if you have a lot of posts here and a old member of this forum then may be you will become a Senior Member of this forum….
