right i wanna get into some hardcore hobbies

canoe/kayak-i used to do this ages ago and gonna start up for the summer, love the exercise and being outside

kites-this chills me out intensely and just need to find the right sort of kite, gonna start with a stunt kite

DJ- someone asked me if i djed, and it got me thinking what i would wanna dj, and i do listen to a fair bit of psy, acid techno, but what i would wanna dj is breakbeat, jungle, dnb, dub, thats really where my heart is at, ive never tried before, and dont really know what the skill is(could someone give me some info), and aswell i should really look into buying some decks weather thats cd or vinyl, i guess i should try it on someones before i spend money

any more info i should know about really

not mine! I can rummage for hours trying to find something , I must waste hours doing this everyday

If your gonna start Djing i’d recommend having a crack on someone elses decks first. Pretty expensive hobby and if you buy all the equipment then lose interest it’s a waste of money! Having said that tho when i started out i didn’t have a clue what i was doing and had a laugh learning it all! DnB is easier to mix with as well imo so i reckon you should start with that should you get all the tools! 😉

i bought decks n vinal and have never realy tryed djin apart from the odd time at partys. i usualy get booted off me own rig :laugh_at:

you will need to use CDs with decent anti-shock buffer or MP3s. if you use vinyl whilst in a canoe being pulled by a kite, the records will jump way too much and your set will sound rubbish.

you have squillions of dj friends … we’ll get sorted …

as for decks … ill show you a tour of the stantons and such to give you an idea of cd decks … maybe even a lesson or two!

youve never mentioned this with the group haha … crazy 🙂

itd be top to have you on the dub in the morning after a party haha, top banana!
