Hi guys, my name’s Simon, been using this site since about 2006 to put up posts about my parties that me and my mates do here and there, but never really took the time to get into the forums and have a natter.
just really wanted to know where most people were from, I’m from London and wondered how many people on this site live in London?
Catch yooooouz all later!

April 23, 2009 at 12:27 pm #1197592Hailin’ from the north up ‘ere mate.
Welcome to PV, good to have you about.
April 23, 2009 at 12:41 pm #1197593Hi, yes, hello to you too.
As I said, just throwing this post up on here in the hope of reaching out and touching some like minded people in London / my area.
Outside of my regular 9-5 job me and my friends try to put on as many parties as we can with varying success, but lately we’re getting fed up of doing bars and small rooms in clubs etc and have been getting our hands on bits of soundsystems / equipment and black lights and canvas murals and trying to set up parties in different spaces and are trying to find a warehouse space to use.
Furthermore we’re really interested in teaming up with other people since it’s all about the music and the party and good company.
Me and my mate Rob Stringer do a regular Underground House Radio Show on the pirate station House FM 88.6FM here in London called SOCIALISE, just in case you were interested I cut a bit of info from our web-site so you can see what were all about and maybe have a listen if you are chilling out at home on the internet when our show is on one Saturday afternoon, here’s what we are all about:
Socialise | House 88.6 FM | Every Sat | 4pm-6pm | Stream Live: http://www.housefm.net
Right now one of London’s most dependable underground house shows is HOUSE FM’s SOCIALISE, and with Simon Page and Rob Stringer manning the controls that should come as no surprise to those that appreciate their underground sounds. Regular HOUSE FM listeners will already know SOCIALISE from their drive-time radio show broadcast over the city of London’s airwaves each and every Saturday afternoon come wind, rain or shine. SOCIALISE characterise their sound as a dubby, low slung, stripped-down take on underground house coupled with an irresistible blend of spacey grooves, earthy bass and a warm melodic vibe that also makes it interesting listening for people who don’t want to dance.
Is there anyone on here that’s feeling the same sort of vibes etc?

April 23, 2009 at 2:53 pm #1197594Hi P0ly, already had a set a few days ago as we’d found an ideal space in the Leytonstone area that a few years ago we went to autonomous party and were fortuneate enough to contct the spaces owner, but tehy bluntly told me that they were having issues with their licence and weren’t even putting on their own galleries / parties and that the only thing I could do was call back in a couple of months. So still looking for a space, not a big one just enough for abotu 100 people at the VERY most, we’re pretty small!

How do i get my mix on the audio CD onto my hardrive? I am very, very sorry for asking such a spazzo question but I am just totally rubbish at this sort of thing.
