Hello and welcome to all the new guys and girls.
Thanks for checking in :weee:
May 9, 2005 at 11:48 am #1059826a big welcome to all our new users (we’ve had loads recently)
again I’d say though – don’t be shy! the more you say about yourselves and what music/parties you like, the more people will talk about partying together
its more than an electronic flyer database here..
whilst we do discuss the “heavier” subjects affecting the rave scene its also is good to hear about the fun stuff and why we do it in the first place, and always good to hear from new people
we try and keep this board a friendly environment and work safe as well
and whilst we do have to be a bit careful about some subjects talking about music and parties isn’t illegal!

May 12, 2005 at 8:01 am #1059559Anonymousalright all :weee:
alittle about myself mmm lets see….. i started raving in ’89 aged 17-18, stopped going to raves about ’98, (1 of the old skool) still into the music now,as i live near ” :cloud9: STERNS :cloud9: ” (sadly no longer there) i spent most of my saturday nights in the underground. :bounce: (lucky me)
i’ve heard that theres loads of parties(raves) happening in the south, i would like to start going again so if anybody knows of any parties(raves) kicking off pm me please.
cheers :bounce_ciMay 12, 2005 at 9:07 am #1059827hi there! welcome to partyvibe.. loads of my mates went to Sterns, although sadly I never managed to get down there before the media smear campaign and E hysteria put an end to their events.
you are in a good place to meet fellow party people…
one thing I will suggest though (going by your screen name and that you may not have been partying for some time…) is that because of cops’ clampdowns and nimbys moanings, raves are often events held in remote areas – a modified car with lowered bodywork may not be the easiest vehicle to get into (or out of) a dirt track….
raves are not cruises, although there are obvious links between the two scenes. if you can afford it, buy a cheap banger to drive to raves and keep the nice motor for showing off in..

I was lucky enough to live in cambs when the warehouse raves were about, we had some fun!! till the bastards got a big financial grant to close then down. had a good few years of it though. :bounce_ciI miss the decent tunes, I go to clubs these days, and just want to leave cos the music’s so shit, the djs cant mix, thats if your lucky enough to get one and not just a cd playing.
enough rambling, i’m ready to party again, as soon as find somewhere!! hopefully a free party, there the best. :good_evilGo on girl…. I know exactly what you mean!!! hope you find what your looking for but if your ever up here in sunny Scotland (haha) then let me know and I will be able to help you with your quest this side of the border!!! :lol_teeth

this is certainly a site that will give you info on parties; but its not like how it used to be where people would freely put their partyline numbers on the web….
there is more opposition to parties nowadays and more hostile police action or complaints from locals; so getting info is now more a matter of becoming part of community and making friends online so people are willing to send you messages with partyline numbers, info etc….
which actually may be a better thing as it makes the groups stronger…
June 5, 2005 at 11:00 pm #1059566Anonymoushello, this site looks great.

June 7, 2005 at 11:34 pm #1059567AnonymousHello from france (Lille)…
June 8, 2005 at 8:21 am #1059568AnonymousHi y’all!
I’m mack o, a student – and a houser – from germany, living in luton, beds to finish my studies. i’m a regular party-animal, but do have some problems adjusting to this strange culture concerning the opening times of clubs here (going home @ 3am is wayyy toooo early!!!!). apart from that i like the uk so far, but i am desperately looking for some parties in the area, since i don’t have a car, and london is wayyy tooo expensive to go there every weekend…
about myself? i am playing guitar, and just love music! i’m always in for a visit to the next pub or club (if only there were any good ones in luton, there’s only something cheesy called bellini’s, and guess what? right-the night ends @ 3am there). sometimes i just watch a movie, or go out and shop some stuff ;). i’ve been part of the german techno movement since the mid nineties, with regular visits to berlin and hannover (!remember the hanomag!). i just wish i had my car over here with me and i miss my parties back home. so, that’s about me, what about you?!greetinx to the community out there and don’t you dare ask me “house the party?” :))

Croeso i partyvibe 😉
(although thats about as far as I’ve got with whole sentences yet in Welsh, I don’t want to embarrass myself/mangle the language too much – I am determined to keep on learning more from the BBC)
It was a brilliant party up there, some of my friends were involved in various ways as well
can’t name names on here because of the Heddlu, but I’m sure there will be more… although possibly smaller and less “disruptive”; otherwise we will have the same situation in England where eveyrone is being nicked and their rigs confiscated.
Your own local councillor moaned to the BBC that the area had been “invaded by foreigners!”
But stick around here and I’m sure you’ll be able to find out about any events in your area when they happen…
