There are loads of NL party pics here
http://www.partyvibe.com/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=album01
but if you just clock on the gallery link you can look at the events from across the world as well.
Elsewhere on here you will find reviews of parties in Britain, Europe and perhaps other places as well, going back to the mid 1990s

and if there are not enough new ones from your area, then perhaps write some of your own!

dude, you are making the classic american mistake of confusing clubnights with raves…raves (or free parties) are unlicensed, donation based events put on in woods or squatted buildings (eg warehouse, office block etc). these events arrived in the UK in the late eighties, when it wasnt illegal because they were free. the tories (our version of the republican scum you have) changed this in 94 and since then they have been underground and illegal. i’m not sure about other european countries. Do these sort of events happen in the US?.
hope that clears things up…

I’d agree with you regarding the real definition of the word “rave” – OTOH I can’t blame people [even in Britain] for being confused as the term rave does also get used for licensed events – particularly on the commercial UK garage and grime scenes – on some of their boards you get stuff like “yea I went 2 a rave last weekend some mans started some beef & dere woz bare gunshots – wha’gwann” etc

(hang on, maybe we shouldn’t be hijacking this thread and causing it to drift ….)
but anyway I’d also be glad to hear from those outside the UK how tolerant (or otherwise) your country is to raves of any kind, legal or unlicensed…
