help! tryna trackdown another tune ><

i used to have the vinyl br it was soooo old and passed around by loadsa people so it’s title was more like an artpiece of signitures than a title of a tune. it went watch your bassbins im tellin ya. someone told me it was called basskick but ive searched everywhere for a basskick thats that tune and i havent found it…im sure someones heard it ive heard it loads bt i need to know the name so i can get the tune again! any help appriciated :bounce_fl :bounce_fl :bounce_fl raaa raaa

was a real oldskool tune about 132 bpm; which contained a male sample saying “we’re on a mission” and female vocal samples with the lyrics – “I know, you gonna want me, but when you want me, it may be a different story”?

i think i saw a tune yesterday while playing called ‘let the bass kick’

it will take me a while to unearth it again but i can check if you like? :groucho:

if it said watch your bass bins I’m telling ya then that is either an Altern-8 track or it is a sample of an altern-8 track called infiltrate 202:

yep thats what I’d associate the sample with – however its probably been resampled loads…

I have to say I have never heard it sampled in nother track to be honest. its so toneless that you can’t do much with it apart from maybe introduce another track with it?

yeh thatd be safe bruv cause there are like a million tracks called let the bass kick :crazy_diz :crazy_diz :crazy_diz but infiltrate 202 does have it in it but im nearly positive it was called basskick or let the bass kick so nice one :weee:
