The same thing has happened with chickens, there are actually more chicken alive on the face of this earth then there are humans, and this is purely as we love to eat them and their eggs so much we’ve bread them in such large quantities they could easily take over given enough of an incentive. iirc they out number us something like 3-1! Something like 19 billion of them alive at any one time. O.o
