September 2, 2007 at 11:23 pm #1118992This is the price list from the first company that came up on Google:
http://www.kuki.co.uk/downloads/KukiPriceList.pdf
Obviously you could shop around and get a better price but using that as a guideline it looks like it will be massively expensive. I’d have to save up for about 3 months for just an hour.

September 3, 2007 at 7:49 am #1118995I used to work for Gary Elson at Bournemouth Helicopters now Solent Flight.
Top guy. Great fun and loves to party.
Good instructor, good aircraft and fair prices.
Nice scenery and you’ll learn to deal with a busy, international airport as well all quiet grassy fields. Very important!September 3, 2007 at 7:49 am #1139730I used to work for Gary Elson at Bournemouth Helicopters now Solent Flight.

September 3, 2007 at 5:02 pm #1118997I don’t know what London schools will be able to offer but if it’s for a ‘one off’ flight, the Chicken Run on the north side of the airfield at Bournemouth is an awsome ride.
It’s just a small, winding stream that runs for about a mile with tall trees on each side, just far enough appart that you can fit a helicopter between them.
At 70 or 80 knots you’ll feel like you in Airwolf.Last time I was at the school they had just bought a little Enstrom thing. 3 seats for nearly the same price as the 2 seater R22 so you can go too.
