November 11, 2008 at 6:03 pm #1062650Each to their own insnt it, sometimes when im not in the mood for dance music hardstyle hurts my ear drums. but when i am in the mood, I dont think any other kind of bass kick gets me tappin my fingers like that hardstyle rhythm…its that low frequency – thump-a-thump-a-thump-a-thump-a – bass sound that gets me bobbin everytime. and those evil sounding tunes that build up, love it.
i agree that its pretty basic music as far as it goes, doesnt take much skill to produce or mix, but theres something about it that leaves me longing for more:laugh_at: its like theres an evil part of me deep inside that craves it:crazy: Ha Ha Ha Ha (I’m sure other hardstyle ‘addicts’ out there know exactly what I’m talking about)

There’s crappy hardstyle; Where I just can’t get into it no matter how much I wanna. Which I find is the majority of hardstyle sadly.
Then there’s the rare, epic hardstyle which is just fuckin’ awesome beyond anything else. Proper dirty, heavy, sludgy bass’d hardstyle…
Epic Hardstyle does make me go just a bit mental raaa
