November 25, 2008 at 2:54 pm #1188303sorry to hear this..
although it wasn’t around Christmas I got made redundant from a tech job a few years back for the same reasons, I was one of the newest staff and worse what counted against me was because I had been given compassionate leave during a major project because my dad had passed away…
can you find out what competitor your biggest client went to and apply for a job with them? 😉

I am gonna ask for a job next door (at one of our competitors):laugh_at: as i don’t think the people that our customer went to is based as close to where i live and i don’t think there as easy to get to as the area i work now….
November 25, 2008 at 5:28 pm #1188304How shit. Sorry to hear that chief. Good luck getting in with the competition. It might be to your advantage that you have worked for their competition.
November 25, 2008 at 6:01 pm #1188316Sorry to hear that – everyone I know is getting laid off rt now! My friend just found out that she will NOT be getting a transfer to a new store, and instead of letting her draw unemp. they are keeping her on the payroll for part-time….using her as a trainer…but now they haven’t even called her back!
